Recently, a middle school art teacher asked David to come speak to her art students and that's where we were today. Her art club students were also excited about the opportunity to meet David so we stayed until 4pm. It was a really wonderful day. Her classroom inspired *me* and I don't consider myself an artistic person.
I always thought seeing people experience David's work for the first time was the best thing. But today I got to see KIDS watch David work and they had so many thoughtful questions. If you're ever concerned about our youth or the future of the country, spend time with kids and try to inspire them with your own passion. I guarantee you'll see it differently. And thank the teachers you meet.
Anyway, the planned post for today involved teeth and that will be next week.
